Victory Amps V112 Duchess Speaker Cab
Victory Amps V112 Duchess Speaker Cab
Duchess 112
Designed for the Duchess range, this 1x12 wide body, open-backed cab is perfect for American cleans and edge of break up blues.
IDEAL FOR
Designed for the Duchess range this 112 cabinet can be used with V4 Duchess, V40 and the deluxe head. The G12M-65 speaker is perfectly suited to high headroom for those all-important reverb and tremolo textures. The open-back design really fills smaller spaces.
SPEAKER CHARACTERISTICS
The G12M-65 Creamback is less sensitive/efficient (97dB) than the Vintage 30 and also the H-75 Creamback, using a medium-magnet (35 ounce) 12-inch driver. Celestion regard it as a ‘more powerful Greenback’ and that is the perfect description. Expect that classic, ‘woody’ tone and feel to add colour to your medium gain sounds, with a little speaker breakup to boot… albeit with a full 65 watts power handling which is 40 more than the standard Greenback. Compared with the 75-watt Creamback, the 65 is less sensitive/efficient so sounds less loud at equivalent amp volume settings. It has more colour to the tone overall, a looser bottom end and breaks up earlier.
We recommend it for anyone who likes classic low/medium gain tones at low/medium volume; or who likes plenty of speaker ‘give’ and colour at higher volumes. We think it works perfectly with the V40’s unique dynamic and feel.

UK MADE CABINETS
Our speaker cabinets are hand built in England using redwood pine for top and sides and quality Baltic birch ply for backs and baffles. Our speaker baffles are angled back by 2-3 degrees to help with projection towards you when you’re playing. They’re finished in black bronco vinyl (cream for the V112C and V212VC) with vintage black woven grille cloth to match aesthetically – and of course tonally – with our heads.
Why choose anything less for your Victory amplifier?
