The MXR Slash Octave Fuzz (SF01) is an all-analog pedal combining a thick '70s-style shag fuzz with both a growling sub-octave and a searing octave-up circuit.
Description
Designed in collaboration with guitar icon Slash, this pedal features a distressed hot-rod finish and a skull-and-crossbones graphic. It lets you blend standard fuzz with an octave below and an octave above for massive wall-of-sound textures. A special "Sub into Fuzz" switch lets you route the sub-octave signal directly through the fuzz circuit for added saturation. Most users note that the MXR Slash Octave Fuzz and related Sub Machine share ancestry with the classic Foxx Tone Machine design.
