1995 purple label re-issue was part of new US pressings of their UK catalog, using the same catalog #s as the CD.

This is different than the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band 1988 re-issue is a few ways:
-The catalog # now used the barcode C1 07777 7 46442 1 1
-The logos on the back cover now include the Parlophone and Apple logos (see photo)
-The logos on the label now include the Parlophone and Apple logos

Some pressings came with a 1" x 3" black "hype sticker" (applied on the shrink-wrap) that states "LIMITED EDITION C1-46442" (see photo).
Contains the cut-out insert.
Matte gatefold cover.
Transparent inner sleeve.
